Kangana Ranaut Speaks On Atrocities Against Women; Says Need Stricter Punishment For Criminals And Set An Example Like Saudi Arabia
Kangana Ranaut has always voiced her opinions without mincing words. Even though she has often called for controversies for being fiercely vocal, the Manikarnika actress has stayed unaffected. Now that she is officially on social media, Kangana has become much more active in raising her voice against what she feels is wrong. Now, she has spoken on the topic of atrocities against women. In a press conference in Bhopal, she spoke at length about having stricter punishments for those who conduct crime against women.

As tweeted by news agency ANI, Kangana stated that our country needs to set an example like Saudi Arabia and set stricter punishment levels for criminals. The news agency's tweet read,, "In countries like Saudi Arabia, those who commit crimes against women are hanged to death at intersections. We need to set similar examples here: Actor Kangana Ranaut, on asked about the solution to atrocities against women, in Bhopal."

On the work front, Kangana Ranaut recently wrapped up the shooting of her film Thalaivi. It is the biopic based on the life of the former Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, J Jayalalitha. After she finished the work on this film, she immediately started work on her other film titled Dhakaad.

Kangana was also in the news recently as she and her sister Rangoli Chandel recorded their statements in Bandra Police Station in an alleged sedition case.
